Why we started
In 2023, after one too many cheaply-made leashes snapping mid-walk and one too many “premium” beds that smelled of chemicals, we decided to build the brand we wished existed. Small-batch, ethically made, vet-formulated, and built to last more than one season.
The name came from our two studio dogs — Fetch (a stubborn rescue lab) and Fern (a velcro sage-loving whippet). Everything we make has to pass their inspection before it earns a place in the shop.
What we make
Premium beds, collars, leashes, toys, grooming essentials, and accessories — for dogs, cats, and the humans who love them. Nothing in the catalog is filler; if it’s on our shop page, it’s something we use ourselves.
How we make it
Our small-batch goods are produced by partner workshops in California, Portugal, and Oregon. Every material — leather, brass, stoneware, organic cotton, recycled fleece — is selected for durability, safety, and how gracefully it ages with use.
We test every product with real pets (including the famously picky Fern) for at least eight weeks before it ships. If it doesn’t survive that, it doesn’t survive period.
What we believe
- Built to last. One well-made thing beats five disposable ones — better for your pet, your wallet, and the planet.
- Vet-formulated where it matters. Anything that goes near skin, mouth, or food bowl is reviewed by a licensed veterinary nutritionist.
- Slow, on purpose. We release fewer products, less often, and stand behind each one for the long haul.
- Carbon-neutral shipping. Free over $75, neutral on every order, no asterisks.
